Beach Safety Precautions  

Water related and within the confines of the Beach Area there shall be no: 

1.                  Ball Playing

2.                  Fires

3.                  Kite Flying

4.                  Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages

5.                  Use of Profane Language

6.                  Boisterous Play

7.                  Swimming during an electrical storm

8.                  Boating without a Coast Guard approved life jacket or PFD.

9.              Dogs allowed on Beach

10.             Use of floatation devices

11.              Overloading of boats

12.              Use of snorkel and mask

15.              Use of any scuba equipment 

• No boat launching or landing from Mackerel Cove is permitted with out written permission from William Piva, Director, Jamestown Parks & Recreation Department
