Camping Rules
- Camping is allowed only in designated areas.
- Check out and check in are both 12 noon.
- No new arrivals are allowed into the campground between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM
- Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 7 AM. STRICTLY ENFORCED.
- Only one RV or tent per site.
- No park models allowed.
- No tents allowed in the RV area and vice versa.
- There is a limit of 6 people per site.
- Any visitors must pay the standard parking fee and be out of the campground by 10 PM.
- There is a limit of one vehicle per tent site.
- All vehicles, trailers and boats must have current registration.
- No all terrain vehicles are allowed in the park.
- Campsites must be left clean and all refuse placed in proper receptacles.
- Please recycle where applicable.
- There is no loitering or cooking allowed in or around the restrooms.
- Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult when using the restrooms.
- DO NOT ABUSE WATER USE.
- Car, boat and trailer washing are strictly prohibited.
- Periodic Town bans on other outdoor water uses must also be observed.
- No person shall cause or permit the discharge of sewage or any type of gray water onto or into the ground.
- No open holding containers are permitted. Penalties include loss of privileges and fines.
- Dump station rules are posted at the dump station.
- No boats are allowed in the camping area. Boats must be stored securely on a trailer in designated parking areas.
- PETS are allowed, but nuisance barking will not be tolerated, and all droppings must be picked up.
- Pets must be leashed at all times when out of doors, and leash must not extend beyond the campsite.
- No Pet is to be left unattended.
- No holes shall be dug in the campground for any purpose.
- Campfires must be kept under control, confined to the rings provided & extinguished by 10 p.m.
- Only untreated and unpainted wood may be burned.
- No Refrigerator, freezer or any major appliance may be connected to the outside of any RV or trailer.
- The use of firearms or any hunting equipment is prohibited.
- No fire works are allowed in the park. Possession is a felony.
- There are no lifeguards stationed in the park. Swim at your own risk.
- The person to whom a site is granted is solely responsible for compliance with the rules as posted.
- Ft. Getty personnel are authorized to eject and refuse further access to violators.
- Penalties may also include fines
